Natalie Nelson is a Skills Development Maven with a passion for Human Development. She is a Chartered Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP) and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Regenesys. Natalie has a strong background in operations and training management, with experience as Chief Executive Officer at Tetelestai Holdings Pty Ltd and Operations Manager at AIDC. She has also served as Non-Technical Training Manager at Renault South Africa and Assistant Director at PALAMA. Natalie is known for her leadership and visionary approach, as well as her ability to lead multicultural teams. She is a Member of the Institute of Directors South Africa and holds a certification as an HR Professional from SABPP. Natalie's career is driven by the belief that education and skills development can transform lives, aligning with her quote: "He who opens a school door, closes a prison" by Victor Hugo.
Dr Felleng Yende – CEO of the FP&M SETA As an award-winning CEO of the Fibre Processing and Manufacturing Sector Education and Training Authority (FP&M SETA), Dr Yende demonstrated that building a consistent, strong organizational culture is one of the most important contributions a leader can make. Since taking over as CEO in 2013, she has a clearly articulated her sense of purpose and vision in the implementation of the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP) in the 13 industrial sub-sectors – Clothing, Textiles, Footwear, Leather, Pulp and Paper, Wood & Wood Products, Furniture, Forestry, Printing, Packaging, Print Media, Publishing and General Goods
Mr Japie Nel is the Senior Manager: Registration and Recognition, he worked with NQF related issues since 1994. He was part of the National Training Board with the Minister of Labour in the development of a National Training Strategy for South Africa. Out of consultation with Unions and Employer Organisations, the NQF was proposed. In 1998, he joined SAQA as the coordinator of one of the National Standards Bodies.
In April 2000, he started his own business where he consulted with Sector Education Authorities (SETAs), Higher Education Providers (Public and Private), skills development providers and other stakeholders in relation to qualifications development, quality assurance processes and other NQF processes.
Japie also worked in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the Middle East, where he was involved in the development of qualifications, policies and procedures, recognition of prior learning, and accreditation of providers and qualifications. After his stint in Bahrain, he rejoined SAQA in 2018, serving under the Registration and Recognition Division where he is involved in the registration of qualifications, recognition of professional bodies and development of policies and procedures.
Yuneal Padayachy is the Chief Support Officer at the BEE Chamber. He previously served as the Accreditation Manager for the B-BBEE Programme at the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS). Before taking up his role at SANAS, he played a critical part in the B-BBEE Policy Unit at the Department of Trade, Industry & Competition. He was responsible for drafting and developing B-BBEE Legislation for implementation and played a key role in establishing the Youth Employment Service or otherwise known as YES Initiative.
She brings a wealth of experience to her field. Her comprehensive background encompasses the entire spectrum of quality assurance in learning programs.
This ranges from qualification development and assessment design to the establishment of quality management systems, accreditation of skills development providers, program implementation, monitoring, and approval of training certificate
