In a groundbreaking collaboration, Regenesys Corporate Education and Barloworld Equipment (BWE) unveiled their highly anticipated First Line Management Programme during a captivating gallery walk-through event held on Monday, February 19, 2024. The event, hosted at the Barloworld Equipment Academy showcased a fusion of artistic presentation and cutting-edge management education, capturing the attention of industry leaders and executives alike.
Opening the event by Head of Learning and Development Mr. Dumisani Kala, of BWE underscored the significance of the partnership between the two entities, setting the stage for a transformative educational experience. Mrs. Mbali Tshitenge, the Programme’s Sponsor, articulated her expectations surrounding the session, emphasising its pivotal role in introducing BWE executives to the innovative course material.
Central to the unveiling was the holistic approach to education championed by Regenesys Group, as unpacked by Regenesys Corporate Education CEO Kapil Jaggeth. This approach, which prioritises the development of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Spiritual Intelligence (SQ) alongside traditional academic competencies, resonated seamlessly with BWE’s core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, and commitment. This alignment facilitated a symbiotic collaboration, culminating in the creation of a bespoke training programme tailored to the specific needs of BWE’s first-line managers.
The programme features a comprehensive curriculum which consists of ten modules organised into learning PODs, starting with a focus on Personal Mastery, Innovation, and High-performing Teams. Prioritising self-leadership, the programme imparts essential foundational skills crucial for success in leadership roles.
A hallmark of the programme is its integration of tailored case studies drawn from the real-life experiences of BWE’s first-line managers. Addressing practical challenges such as ethical dilemmas inherent in the workplace, these case studies ensure the immediate relevance and applicability of the programme’s teachings to participants’ day-to-day responsibilities within BWE.
As the gallery walk-through event concluded, anticipation built among BWE executives, who eagerly embraced the prospect of embarking on this transformative educational journey. The collaborative efforts of Regenesys Corporate Education and BWE promise to redefine the landscape of management education, setting a new standard for excellence in leadership development within the industrial sector.
